Team Plyke participated in the hackathon with their original product - bicycle bells from a single piece of metal. Unlike other solutions for bicycle bells, which use a plethora of parts and materials, Plyke's single piece mechanism makes it much simpler and also 100% recyclable.
Plyke was awarded 1000€ by the European Commission for developing their concept further. The team also got a chance to participate in Prototron & Tehnopol’s incubators. The prizes were handed out by Kersti Kaljulaid, the President of Estonia.
Plyke OÜ, the company behind Plyke, with Prajwal, Mihkel and Martin at its forefront, started selling their first edition bells on June 14th. More information: plyke.co or on Plyke Facebook.
